Hello, my name is Deborah and welcome to my Preschool Piano website.  Feel free to explore the links to learn more Piano Lessons for Preschoolers! 

Here is a little  about myself.....

I have counseled and taught young children for over twenty years.  I am currently so enjoying teaching at my home preschool, Bright Start.  Over the years I have witnessed firsthand preschooler’s love of music.  My preschool students expressed so much interest in learning piano, I began offering group lessons in my home preschool program. I am now expanding my enrollment to include private students (ages 3 - 7)

for one- on -one weekly lessons.

As an early childhood educator,  I know teaching this age group requires a developmentally appropriate program to meet their early learning needs., which differs

from “traditional piano” lessons (which are better suited for children seven and older).

In order to meet the needs of early musicians, I use the  WunderKeys Method Books.  WunderKeys Piano books are specifically developed for young musicians.  This series uses a colorful, story-based approach, filled with age-appropriate learning opportunities including on- and- off the piano bench game based learning, exploring musical concepts, playing duets, and uses engaging hands-on methods to reinforce early music concepts.
